Where's that groundhog?

I don't like winter. I spend most of my days wedged under the radiator or curled up on a plush rug. Today I even put part of a blanket on myself. I can't have my annual three-month long Spring Frenzy when I am cold. I just swat at the little dog and then warm up again.

No need for Santa

My favorite part of the holidays is turkey. Just like at Thanksgiving, I ate a lot of it at Christmas. At first my people were taking too long to get it ready, and I was all mad.

The little dog and I watched all the preparations. I had a better view.

Then we got turkey in our bowls. And I also ate some right out of the pan. My person did not approve of that. Now that it's January, we just eat chicken.

Snow Day

I relaxed all day with my person. We sat in my favorite chair and looked out the window. I also lounged on the warm radiator. I may have taken a little nap.

Birds

I was busy over the holidays. I climbed on the counters and ate some egg salad, went on the stove and ate turkey, and somehow got my foot stuck in the tea kettle for a second. When I wasn't all busy in the kitchen, I was watching these birds. I prefer turkey though.

Excursion

When I was a street cat, I was outside all the time. When I met my person, she said I wasn't allowed to go outside, which makes me mad. Sometimes I sneak out though. Last week, she said I could go in the yard for a visit. I jumped off the deck right away and looked around in the shrubs. Then I went all around the yard. I wasn't afraid at all. My person said I need more supervision and that next time I go out I I have to use my special harness. We'll see about that.

Treat time

One good thing about the little dog is that he likes treats as much as I do. We team up to convince our people to give us treats and snacks from the refrigerator.
