Still the boss

My people started buying a new food for the little dog. I like it. I have started eating his food before he does.

I have also started napping in his bed. 

Everyone is very surprised. 

Sunday Chicken

On most Sundays now, my person cooks me chicken. When I hear the chicken package, I make sure to get on the scene in a hurry. I watch while she cooks it and shreds it and puts it in my special containers for the week. Then I get to have warm chicken and broth. The little dog likes Sunday Chicken too.

Soaking up the AC

Just cooling down on the bed with my person, helping her read the newspaper.

Summer getaway

My person set up this extra large box for me in the kitchen. I spend a lot of time in it. I can relax in the very back, for when I want peace and quiet. Or I can lounge in the front, to keep my eye on things. Sometimes when the little dog walks by I surprise him.

Nightlife

Recently I had an adventure. When my people weren't looking, I darted out the door around 10 pm. At 3 am, my person woke up. She heard cats fighting under her window. She said "Milo would be interested in this. Where is he?" When she couldn't find me, she ran outside. She heard my distinctive voice. I was in the yard, telling an unwelcome cat to get lost. She scooped me up. I was very dirty and tired. I went to sleep right away, on her pillow. It took two days for me to recover. But I had a *great* time.  I can't wait to sneak out again...

Like a Snow Leopard

It snowed at my house last night and I am in a frenzy. I howled at the back door until my person let me walk in the snow on the deck. I like to walk in the deep snow and check on all the plants. She made me come in too soon. Later I will watch for an open door...

Christmas toys and treats

I had a great Christmas. The nice Greensburg people came to visit me. My presents included a nip-filled rodent and a squeaky feather toy. I ate turkey, gravy, potatoes, beef tenderloin, pumpkin pie, a plate of heavy cream, and some butter. I am going to settle in for a long winter's nap now.

Three Season Milo

It's been very cold here and when I tell my person to set up my tent, she says "Milo! It's too cold for your tent!" But I am persistent. This weekend she set up my tent for me. Yesterday she made me wear my flannel coat. But today I went out in just my own magnificent fur coat. I peed in my litter box right away and ate some cat food and yelled to all the local cats. Then I was ready to come inside. My person said "Milo, soon we will have to clear you a path in the snow to get to your tent." Then I will be Four Season Milo.

New Brush

My person bought a new brush for me. It's purple and green and says "Lil' Pals" on it. It has a special surface that I love. My person brushes me regularly. I like to rub my chin on the new brush and even take a nap with it in my box. My person said it makes me incredibly soft. She told me, "Milo, you are the softest, plushest, most rabbity cat in the entire history of cats!"

Boxes Galore

My person has been getting organized lately, and that means a lot of boxes for me.

Overall, I enjoy lounging on, getting inside, and occasionally biting, all cardboard and paper, particularly if my person is using it.

Handsomely watching the neighborhood

Bacon, Butter, Cream

I am on a special diet now to fatten up! The vet, who I hate, told my person that I can have any kind of fat, including roast beef trimmings. My person tried pouring bacon grease on my food and tossed my treats in melted butter. I prefer to drink cream from my bowl though. Today she served me treats and cream in my tent.

First time for everything

A few nights ago, I decided to sleep under the covers with my person. I haven't ever done that. She was surprised, and I was very cozy. The next day, she swaddled me in a new blanket. I haven't ever let her do that, but I was cozy. In addition to being cozy, I have been very rambunctious lately, playing with my string and getting into mischief in the kitchen.

Even more rabbity than the Easter Bunny

I am incredibly plush and plump these days. My person can't even believe how soft I am.

Magnificent

Yesterday my whiskers were especially magnificent. My person commented on them while she was admiring my rabbity soft springtime fur.

A late holiday report

As usual, the holidays were great with my people and my other people. I relaxed in the Christmas village:

 
On Christmas, the nice lady made steak. I like steak, and helped myself to a sample, right from the stove. It was delicious.

I can't wait to see what the new year brings...

Let the holiday eating begin

I visited my Greensburg people at Thanksgiving. The first night I was there I leaped on to the stove and licked out the pan that had butter and scallops. The nice lady said to my person, "Look at your cat!" My person took a picture. The next day I jumped from the table onto the counter. It was a mighty jump. I was licking the raw turkey when the not-so-nice lady made me get down. I got a lot of turkey in my bowl later though.

Higher and higher

My person is almost done with her projects. I took advantage of the ladder and the empty shelves. I could see a lot.

Sharing, not even caring

The little dog and I spend our evenings on the couch. Usually my person is in the middle of us. But sometimes she's not.
