Lap cat

I sit with my person and her computer all day. They are both warm. When my person has to get up, she wraps me in a blanket or covers me with my green and white flannel coat. That way I stay all cozy.

Nest

I had a busy morning today. I ran around the house as fast as possible and howled at my person. I rustled around in some wrapping paper in the closet. Then I made myself this nest and have been relaxing all afternoon.

So snug

It is fall now, and I am cold. I don't like to be cold. The nice Greensburg lady made me this coat. It is soft flannel and has a green and white pattern. I tried it on already, and it fits me perfectly. I can wear it or use it as a blanket. I am all set for the new season. 

Go team

There is a big game today. My person got out her favorite jersey. She said "Pouncey" is a good name for me too.

Squirrels!

A squirrel family moved into our roof. I could hear them scrabbling around. My person said squirrels can't live in houses. She called a nice man. He put three traps on the roof to capture the baby squirrels. He will drive them to the forest, which will be their new home. One squirrel went in the trap today. Another one almost did. I watched the whole thing through the window. I was all excited. They are the perfect size to be my prey.

Fattening up for winter

Recently I lost some weight. My people took me to the vet yesterday for a check up. I hate the vet. As it turns out, I am in excellent condition, and the staff commented on my exceptionally soft fur and overall handsomeness. To keep my weight up, the vet said I can eat even more. I am looking forward to larger portions of my special food, Greenies on demand, and butter when I can get it.

That's just right...

It's very warm in my house. My person puts the air conditioning on in the bedroom to cool off. She invites me in. I don't like air conditioning. I prefer to lay on the hallway floor just outside the bedroom, with my tail underneath the door.
