Sunday Chicken

On most Sundays now, my person cooks me chicken. When I hear the chicken package, I make sure to get on the scene in a hurry. I watch while she cooks it and shreds it and puts it in my special containers for the week. Then I get to have warm chicken and broth. The little dog likes Sunday Chicken too.

Summer getaway

My person set up this extra large box for me in the kitchen. I spend a lot of time in it. I can relax in the very back, for when I want peace and quiet. Or I can lounge in the front, to keep my eye on things. Sometimes when the little dog walks by I surprise him.

Nightlife

Recently I had an adventure. When my people weren't looking, I darted out the door around 10 pm. At 3 am, my person woke up. She heard cats fighting under her window. She said "Milo would be interested in this. Where is he?" When she couldn't find me, she ran outside. She heard my distinctive voice. I was in the yard, telling an unwelcome cat to get lost. She scooped me up. I was very dirty and tired. I went to sleep right away, on her pillow. It took two days for me to recover. But I had a *great* time.  I can't wait to sneak out again...

Like a Snow Leopard

It snowed at my house last night and I am in a frenzy. I howled at the back door until my person let me walk in the snow on the deck. I like to walk in the deep snow and check on all the plants. She made me come in too soon. Later I will watch for an open door...

Christmas toys and treats

I had a great Christmas. The nice Greensburg people came to visit me. My presents included a nip-filled rodent and a squeaky feather toy. I ate turkey, gravy, potatoes, beef tenderloin, pumpkin pie, a plate of heavy cream, and some butter. I am going to settle in for a long winter's nap now.
