Easy like Sunday...

After battling with my person over the pillows last night, I decided to take it easy today. I sat with both my people on the couch all day, and only got up to eat my supper and briefly play String. My person told me I was even snoring for a while.

I'm in a box and my head smells like perfume

That's all really. My person can't figure out why my head and neck and ears smell like sandalwood perfume.

At last!

My person finally bought me a new scratching post. She had to specially order it because I have unique taste. I have two already, but I scratched all the good parts of my favorite one. And I don't like the other one, so I was temporarily using her office chair. This new one had tan carpet, my favorite. It is also tall, like me.

In other news, there were big puddles of water in the basement today. While my person was cleaning, I splashed around. There were a lot of dead bugs floating in the water, which I liked.

Neighborhood Watch

Here I am spying on the neighborhood, especially the chipmunks. I don't think they can see me because I'm all stealthy...

My trip to the Hospital

Eating all that corn might have had some consequences. Or it might have been the giant bug I ate one night. Anyway, I got sick and had to go the emergency vet. At first, the vet said I had to have an operation to remove an "obstruction." But then they did more tests and decided I did not have to have an operation, but I did have to stay in the hospital for three nights, which I hated. I even had to have an IV. When my people came to see me during Visiting Hours, I was M-A-D. I also gave the people there a hard time. The two doctors were OK though, and one said I was a "delight." The other one said that he "liked the looks" of me.

Here is my IV spot, and here I am recovering. My person said I had "poodle arms." I am not allowed to eat corn anymore.

I finally got some corn! I ate the husks right out of the garbage can.

If my other person needs any help with a project, I'll be ready. I like to stay close to the tools.
